Privacy Policy

Account information: When you create an account we collect your email address, username, and a hashed password. If you sign in through Google, Discord, or X, we receive the basic profile information those services share with us - typically your name, email address, and avatar. We never receive your password for a linked service.

Product usage: We collect product analytics about how the site is used: pages viewed, features opened, links clicked, time on page, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, and device, browser, and operating system details. We also collect client-side error reports so we can fix broken pages.

Content you create: Watchlists, paper-trading portfolios, alert preferences, and notification settings are stored against your account so they persist between sessions.

Payment information: Paid API subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly - we never receive or store full payment card numbers. We retain only the subscription status and billing metadata Stripe returns to us.

• To operate your account, authenticate you, and keep your watchlists, portfolios, and alerts working.
• To deliver the alerts, notifications, and emails you have asked for.
• To understand which features are used, diagnose errors, and prioritize what we build next.
• To provision, meter, and bill API access.
• To detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and protect the service and its users.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for targeted advertising.

We use cookies and browser storage for two purposes: strictly necessary functions (keeping you signed in, remembering your session and display preferences) and product analytics (understanding aggregate usage patterns). Analytics requests are served through our own domain, so no third-party advertising cookies are set by us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent account features from working.

We share data with a small number of processors that operate the service on our behalf. Each is bound to use the data only to provide its service to us:

Cloudflare Turnstile: We use Cloudflare Turnstile, including invisible checks, to protect our forms and service from bots and abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information, and the site you are visiting to provide this protection and improve its bot detection. • PostHog - product analytics and error monitoring. Events are proxied through our own domain, and where session replay is enabled it is used only for debugging and product research.
• Stripe - payment processing and subscription billing for API plans.
• Railway - application, database, and infrastructure hosting.
• Email and notification delivery providers - used to send the alerts and transactional messages you have enabled.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

Prediction HuntPrediction.com aggregates publicly available market data from prediction market platforms including Kalshi, Polymarket, PredictIt, ProphetX, Opinion, and Predict.fun. That data is about markets, not about you, and we do not send your personal information to those platforms.

When you follow a link from Prediction HuntPrediction.com to a trading platform, that platform’s own privacy policy governs what it collects. We have no control over their practices.

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Analytics events are retained on a rolling basis for product analysis. When you delete your account we remove your profile, watchlists, portfolios, and alert settings; aggregated and anonymized usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained, along with records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

• Access and correction - view and update your profile and preferences in your account settings.
• Deletion - request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Communication preferences - turn alerts and notification emails off at any time in your settings.
• Linked accounts - unlink Google, Discord, or X from your account at any time.
• Analytics opt-out - enable Do Not Track or a tracking blocker in your browser, or contact us to request that your analytics data be deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, including the right to request a copy of it or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Prediction HuntPrediction.com is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Prediction HuntPrediction.com is operated from the United States, and our processors store and process data there. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the "Last Updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
