How does the Polymarket promo code work?
Using the Polymarket promo code PRED offers new users $50 in trading credits when depositing $10 or more. Enter the bonus code when registering, deposit $10 or more, and the trading credits will be added to your account. You’ll need to use the credits in trades before you can withdraw any winnings.
How I used the Polymarket bonus
The Polymarket sign-up bonus proved to be quite straightforward. I entered PRED when registering as a new user and made a qualifying deposit of $15, going over the $10 minimum. The $50 bonus credit was in my account within a few minutes. Rather than putting the full bonus on one outcome, I split it across a couple of NFL markets. This way, I could focus on markets I already understand.
I used $20 on the Seahawks to win against the Patriots, and another $30 on the Rams beating the 49ers. The market predictions in both cases favored the teams that I traded on, so I avoided taking much of a risk here. I then had the freedom to either withdraw my potential winnings or place them on additional trades.
Polymarket promo code terms and conditions
The Polymarket promotion may be quite simple, but I think it’s always important to double-check the conditions before funding your account. In fact, the headline $50 offer doesn’t mean I can deposit $10 and immediately withdraw $60.
The main conditions for this bonus are:
- New users only: PRED is intended as a new-account promotion code.
- Minimum age: You must be at least 18, or meet any higher legal age requirement that applies in your jurisdiction.
- Minimum deposit: The current Prediction.com offer requires a qualifying $10 deposit.
- Identity checks: Polymarket US requires account and identity verification before trading.
- Trading credit: The $50 incentive is promotional trading collateral, not cash that can immediately be withdrawn.
- Jurisdiction restrictions: You can claim the Polymarket bonus in all states, excluding Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, and Ohio.
- Offer changes: Promotional conditions can be amended or withdrawn, so I would always verify the terms and conditions before claiming the deal.

How do you claim the Polymarket promo code?
For me, the Polymarket promo process felt quite familiar to what you get with similar sites like Kalshi and Novig. I’ll be guiding you through each step of the way, pointing out the pages and links to look out for, as well as the information you’ll need to input to claim the deal.
- Sign up and verify your accountPolymarket streamlines this process thanks to integration with Apple and Google accounts. Just sign in through your account, choose a username and enter your personal details. Remember to enter the PRED promo code when prompted. The site runs the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process automatically, but you may be asked for proof of ID (driver’s license or passport), together with a recent photo. You may also need to verify your Social Security number.
- Deposit at least $10Once you’re verified, click on your account button at the top right of the site and access the payments section. Here, you’ll need to make a deposit of at least $10 to meet the current offer requirement. You can choose your preferred payment method to do this and the deposit will be processed instantly.
- Use the trading creditNow that your deposit has gone through and the $50 credit has been applied, it’s time to make your trades. I went with NFL games as it’s a space that I know and can comfortably trade on. If you’re new to prediction markets, I’d read this beginner’s guide to Polymarket first. To make a trade, choose the outcome, check the contract price and market rules, enter the size you want, and review the order before confirming.
- Withdraw eligible fundsYou can’t withdraw the $50 bonus until you’ve traded with the funds, then any winnings you hopefully make will be available. When your funds are ready, head to the payments section and choose the option to withdraw. Input the amount you wish to withdraw and your preferred payment method to continue. Withdrawal processing can take longer, but generally will be one to three business days.
What’s trending on Polymarket right now?
Polymarket’s trending markets feed currently features matches from the NFL, MLB, and CFB. This includes SMU vs Florida State, Florida A&M vs Miami, New England vs Seattle, and Toronto Blue Jays vs Athletics.
I’ll go through some of the biggest markets below. I also recommend checking our trending prediction markets tracker. It looks for meaningful price movement across several sites, rather than just Polymarket.
Polymarket NFL odds
The NFL side of things is already huge, even if the regular season is only just getting underway.
As expected, I found the Los Angeles Rams priced at roughly a 16% implied chance to win the 2027 championship, while Buffalo sat around 8%. For the NFC title, the Rams lead in the West, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead in the South, the Detroit Lions in the North, and the Philadelphia Eagles in the East. As for the AFC No. 1 seed option, Buffalo leads in the East, with Baltimore in the North, Houston Texans in the South, and Kansas City Chiefs in the West.
Game markets are live too. This includes matches like Seahawks vs Patriots, Rams vs 49ers, Bengals vs Buccaneers, Jets vs Titans, and Steelers vs Falcons.
There’s loads to sift through here, beyond simple game winners to include conference futures, championship markets, seeding, and other NFL trades. Bear in mind that NFL odds can change drastically in short spurts of time, so check in with our NFL predictions to get a clear understanding of the latest prices.
Polymarket combos
Polymarket combos let you combine several trade outcomes into one trade. They effectively feel similar to a parlay, but the underlying mechanics still come from event-contract pricing.
Each leg of the combo has its own market-implied probability. So, the combo price reflects those legs together, and all of the required outcomes need to be successful for the combination to pay its full settlement value. Polymarket also allows eligible combo positions to be sold before final settlement rather than forcing you to hold every combination to the very end.
I like how convenient it is, but the trade-off is obvious. Every extra leg increases the likelihood of failure, and while they can lead to high rewards, they’re also very high risk. I would pay particular attention to the individual prices and settlement rules instead of judging a combo solely from its potential payout.
Polymarket midterms odds
The 2026 midterms are one of Polymarket’s deepest political areas. Based on my last check on the site, the Republican Party is at around 55% implied probability to win the Senate, reflecting a payout multiplier of roughly 1.82x, while Democrats are at around 46%. The House market leaned much more heavily Democratic, with an implied probability of roughly 83% (a 1.21x payout multiplier), versus around 18% for Republicans.
The depth goes well beyond congressional control. You can trade individual Senate races, House districts, governor elections, turnout markets, and popular-vote outcomes. Current examples include Texas, Maine, and Ohio Senate races alongside California, Georgia, Ohio, and Nevada governor markets.
See our 2026 midterms odds to get a wider view of the market.
What is Polymarket?
Polymarket is a prediction market platform where you can trade contracts linked to real-world outcomes instead of placing fixed-odds bets against a sportsbook.
On Polymarket, these event contracts are offered through a federally regulated exchange structure. A contract price between $0 and $1 can be read as an approximate market-implied probability. If a ‘Yes’ contract trades at $0.60, for example, the market is roughly pricing that event at 60%. A winning contract settles at $1 under the relevant market rules.
The key difference here is who sets the price. With prediction markets I’m trading against other market participants through an order book, rather than accepting odds set directly by a bookmaker. So, supply, demand, and new information are key elements in continuously moving the price. I can also sell a trade before an event resolves, which gives me more control over when I exit.
Is Polymarket legit?
In short, yes. The regulatory position is one of the strongest reasons I am comfortable treating Polymarket as a legit platform.
QCX LLC, which operates as Polymarket, was designated as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on July 9, 2025.
This is effectively very different from a state-licensed sportsbook or social and sweepstakes casinos. Prediction markets work under a federal commodities/event-contract framework, and state-level disputes over particular types of contracts can still affect access.
It’s also very strong in its security features, encrypting your data in transit through SSL technology, while also following the standard protocols for KYC, AML, and account-control requirements.
My expert takeHaving used Polymarket, I’m impressed by how transparent and straightforward it is. I can verify the DCM status directly with the CFTC, so I never had to doubt the legitimacy of the platform when everything was presented in such a clear way. Trades are incredibly easy to make, though I do suggest doing your research before you get started in the markets.
Where is Polymarket available?
Polymarket has much broader reach than a traditional state-by-state sportsbook, operating in over 40 states, including New York, California, and Florida. However, it has been restricted in some states, including Nevada, where it is completely banned, as well as states like Arizona, Illinois, and Massachusetts that have restricted access.
Polymarket promos for existing users
The good news for existing users is that the welcome offer is not the only incentive Polymarket has to give.
The Volume Incentive Program rewards taker activity, while the Liquidity Incentive Program rewards users for placing qualifying resting orders. There’s also a Market Maker Program for approved participants and a broader Referral Program.
If you’re someone who is regularly trading, you’ll want to check out the site’s liquidity rewards. Rather than simply rewarding a deposit, Polymarket scores qualifying resting limit orders based on factors like their size and distance from the best available price.
These programs can change independently of the Polymarket promo for new users, so I would check the rewards area consistently to see what the latest promotions have to offer.
Polymarket invite code vs the Polymarket promo code
The Polymarket referral code is a completely different bonus from the PRED welcome offer. PRED is the promotional code tied to a fixed $50 new user offer. A personal referral or invite is associated with Polymarket’s refer-a-friend system, with altogether different qualification rules and rewards.
| Feature | Polymarket promo code | Polymarket referral code |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus amount | $50 in trading credit | $25 in bonus credit |
| Total offer value | $50 | $25 |
| Sign up method | Register using PRED code | Register using an invite link or referral code |

How to refer your friends to Polymarket
As I mentioned above, you can invite up to 14 friends to Polymarket using the refer-a-friend program. This can give you up to $350 in bonus cash, and the process of sending out your referrals is quite easy to follow.
- Log in to PolymarketAccess Polymarket and log in to your account from the top of the screen.
- Share the invite codeFind the refer a friend link in your account, click on the option to copy your invite link and send to your friend.
- Your friend signs upYour friend will then need to set up their personal account using the link you provided.

Polymarket app review
Polymarket overview
I’d say the Polymarket app is ideal for people who are looking for a cleaner interface for prediction market trading. Yes/No pricing is easy to read at a glance, which makes it one of the more approachable entry points for traders coming from the more layered structure of sportsbooks. That’s not to say the app is basic. I found the combo feature to be particularly useful to build up a more advanced trade structure, with higher risk and potentially higher rewards.
I also like the platform's depth outside of sports. Politics and current-events markets in particular have some of the deepest liquidity and fastest-moving pricing I've seen on any prediction market app. This makes sense given Polymarket's roots as the go-to venue for election and geopolitical trading. I could move from a Los Angeles Rams game to midterm election odds, to Oscar predictions, without ever feeling like any category was an afterthought.
What Polymarket users say
Polymarket users often highlight how approachable the app feels, even for those newer to prediction markets. They also like the depth of tools available once you're comfortable trading. I’d agree that a clean layout and real-time pricing make it easy to browse markets and track positions, while experienced traders still get the depth they need.
“I have tried many different crypto trading applications. Many are confusing and exhausting, but this app is simple and offers statistics that are helpful for beginners and people that have been trading for a while. It also offers ways to learn and earn money for learning.”
App Store review
“I found the Polymarket app easy to get used to, even as someone who had not spent much time with prediction markets before. The layout is clean, the markets are simple to browse, and I liked being able to see prices move in real time before deciding whether to enter a position. Depositing was quick, and the account area made it straightforward to track my open trades and available balance.”

Polymarket pros and cons
What we like
- Market variety: This is the feature I notice immediately. Polymarket doesn’t make me choose between a sports product and a politics/news product. Both sit in the same market ecosystem.
- Strong market liquidity: Big political events, major sports, and headline-driven contracts attract enough activity to make prices useful and positions easier to enter or exit.
- Flexible positions: I like not being forced to wait for resolution. If the market moves in my favor (or new information changes my view) I can sell before settlement.
What can improve
- Filtering: With hundreds of contracts attached to some events, finding a specific market can be quite tough. Better filtering options would make this level of depth easier to navigate.
- Improved interface for changing prices: Prediction-market prices can move between the moment I see a quote and the moment an order fills. So, I need to watch spreads, available size and any price-change warnings rather than treating the displayed number like a guaranteed sportsbook line.
User experience on the Polymarket app
The Polymarket app is very user-friendly thanks to the nature of the trades it offers. They’re straightforward and easy to understand and use. The interface is clean, and I could find my way around the app in no time at all thanks to its intuitive design. This helped me to navigate account settings, deposits, and trades.
The trades themselves show plenty of information too, delivered in a way that is concise and easy to follow. They even show the implied percentage next to the trade price, so you can more easily understand what’s going on. My main issue here is the actual filtering and sorting of these trades, which at the moment feels quite limited. With so many options on offer, the site could do with a stronger system.
I found the portfolio tracking really useful. It allowed me to see exactly what trades I was involved in and monitor how they were progressing. All these features are available on both the desktop version and iOS and Android apps. Both apps are quite highly ranked, with the App Store rated at 4.6/5 and the Play Store version at a lower 3.7/5. It’s a pretty lightweight app, taking up just around 688MB of space on your device.
Markets and liquidity
Market coverage is where Polymarket really manages to stand out for me. The homepage groups an enormous range of real-world events together. So, you can trade in:
- Sports: NFL, MLB, college football, soccer, tennis, NBA, and other major leagues, with markets covering game winners, spreads, and totals.
- Politics: Presidential and congressional elections, individual Senate, House, and gubernatorial races, geopolitical outcomes, and legislative and policy decisions.
- Economics and finance: Federal Reserve decisions, inflation, GDP, unemployment, and other macroeconomic releases, alongside broader financial market events.
- Culture and entertainment: Awards shows, music and film releases, celebrity events, and other pop-culture outcomes.
- News-driven markets: Contracts built around developing national and international stories, letting traders react to breaking news as it unfolds rather than waiting for a scheduled event.
As you might expect, the sports depth here is great. Even in September, before some of the main events have even kicked off, Polymarket shows around 314 NFL events, 88 MLB events and 287 college-football events. There’s also lots of depth for each individual event, with MLB predictions having more than 200 related markets.
Polymarket trades also go beyond simple win/loss scenarios. You can access deeper sports markets around spreads, totals, and other outcomes, with these markets varying according to the sport or event in question. You can combine several of these in combos and even trade in real time while events are live.
The tradeoff here is that market depth is pretty uneven. A Super Bowl future or major presidential market can generally have enormous volumes, while a niche political or lower-profile sports contract generally has much thinner liquidity. Thin books matter because the price I see may not be available for the full size of the trade I want.
Polymarket’s odds are quite competitive, and similar to what you get at sites like Kalshi and ProphetX. But when looking at prediction odds, I suggest you also treat market activity as a guideline rather than seeing every price movement as definitive information. You can use our Smart Money tracker to highlight trades from profitable wallets.
Pricing and fees
Polymarket does not set a conventional sportsbook line; instead, traders' orders determine prices through supply and demand.
If buyers become more willing to pay for ‘Yes’, the contract price rises. If sellers become more aggressive or demand slows down, it falls. That means a $0.70 contract reflects current market consensus and liquidity rather than a bookmaker independently deciding that the outcome should be -233.
But bear in mind the impact of Polymarket fees. Polymarket’s current exchange-wide fee schedule uses a formula based in part on contract price, with the largest fee imposed on contracts near $0.50. The fees get lower on higher contracts. I ended up paying fees of anywhere from 1% to 5% on my trades, depending on the volume and price of each specific trade.
So, I recommend checking the actual cost before trading rather than assuming every $100 position has the same fee. You can also use our fee calculator to get an even better understanding of what these fees will cost you before placing any trades.
Banking and payout speed
I found a good range of deposit options offered at Polymarket. The app lets you choose from debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and wire transfers. All these options can be used to handle both deposits and withdrawals, with processing speeds varying depending on your choice of payment method.
Polymarket doesn’t have any processing fees, but you will be charged a network fee when using crypto to deposit and withdraw.
| Payment method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Fee | Processing speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Debit Card | ✅ | ✅ | N/A | 3-4 business days |
| ACH Bank Transfer | ✅ | ✅ | N/A | 3-4 business days |
| Wire Transfer | ✅ | ✅ | N/A – Network fees apply | Up to 1 business day |
Customer support
Your first destination to resolve any questions or concerns at Polymarket is the site’s help center. I found it very easy to navigate, with useful categories like markets, trading, and FAQs. There’s also a dedicated search function to find exactly what you’re looking for. I took things further and got in touch with the site’s live chat to ask some questions about payment methods.
I initially communicated with an AI chatbot, and was pleasantly surprised by how efficient and specific it was. I also pressed the option to speak to a customer rep to test out the system’s response rate (I was connected in under 2 minutes). You can also get in touch through email and X.
- Live Chat: Available 24/7

Polymarket vs. traditional sportsbooks
At a glance, it’s easy to think that Polymarket works just like traditional sportsbooks. But although both systems can look similar when the subject is an NFL game market, the mechanics at play here are completely different.
Here’s some of the key ways there’s a clear distinction between predictions vs. sportsbooks:
Peer-to-peer pricing vs bookmaker odds
At a sportsbook, the operator publishes a line and builds its margin into the market. On Polymarket, I trade contracts with other market participants through what’s called an order book. In this case, prices are based on supply and demand.
Tradable position vs a locked wager
A traditional sportsbook bet is normally settled when the event in question finishes, although some books do offer cash-out options. On Polymarket, selling a position before resolution is part of the normal exchange model. If I buy ‘Yes’ at $0.35 and the market later trades around $0.60, I can exit instead of having to wait for final settlement.
Federal exchange oversight vs state sportsbook regulation
Sportsbooks are generally licensed on a state-by-state basis. Polymarket operates through a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market (DCM) structure. That helps explain why, although it isn’t available across all states, Polymarket’s availability doesn’t map neatly onto a sportsbook legality map.
Alternatives to Polymarket
I opt for Polymarket because of how simple and efficient it is to use. It also happens to offer the best range of trades related to elections and US politics. Even so, I recommend you check out the following alternatives before committing to your choice of platform.
Kalshi compares well to Polymarket, covering sports, politics, economics, and culture. I treated myself to a $35 trading bonus through the PRED35 promo after trading over $25 to kick things off.
Prophet X is more sports-focused than Polymarket. I took advantage of the Trade $50, get $75 offer through the PRED code.
More prediction market options
Novig, Underdog and OG.com are a few other platforms you may want to check out, offering a sport focus and a similar experience to Polymarket.
Responsible trading on Polymarket
Polymarket makes sure you verify your identity before trading. While serving as a security barrier, this also ensures that you’re over 18. Remember that event-contract trading can result in the loss of the full amount you’ve committed to a position.
Because of this, I always treat prediction-market contracts as financial risk, not guaranteed returns.
My first rule is to set a budget before I open the market rather than deciding how much to trade after seeing an attractive price. I also read the resolution criteria, because being right about the real-world story doesn’t help if I misunderstood what the contract actually settles on.
I would also avoid trading a market purely because it is trending. The best starting point is usually something I already understand, with enough liquidity to see how the market is pricing the information.
