Will Anthropic Reach a $2 Trillion Valuation by December 31? Market Says 68%

↑$2.0T: Anthropic is a strong favorite to reach a $2 trillion valuation by December 31, with the Polymarket contract at 68% on Oct. 13, down from 76%. The company plans to show third-quarter financials to institutional investors on Oct. 14. Reports put its IPO range at $1.8 trillion to $2 trillion and target a listing before Thanksgiving. Anthropic has not confirmed the range or the timing.

On Polymarket, the "↑$2.0T" contract in "Will Anthropic's valuation hit __ by December 31?" fell about 8 percentage points over three days. The 68% price on Oct. 13 was its lowest of the period. The $2 trillion threshold sits at the top of the reported range. Pricing at the low end, $1.8 trillion, would still nearly double the $965 billion post-money valuation from Anthropic's May 2026 Series H.

Anthropic's Oct 14 Q3 Financials Briefing Is the Only Fresh News

Anthropic will disclose its third-quarter financials for the first time at a closed meeting with potential investors at its San Francisco headquarters on Wednesday, Oct. 14, according to CNBC, which cited two people familiar with the matter. Anthropic declined to comment. Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are reportedly leading the offering.

Because the reported range straddles the threshold, small changes in what investors expect from the briefing can move the contract sharply. A result at $1.99 trillion resolves "No."

We could not establish the cause of the decline. Sources show no Anthropic-specific negative event in the period. CNBC noted that last week's confusion over a report on OpenAI's revenue and accounting dragged down semiconductor stocks and the Nasdaq. That episode shows a single AI lab's numbers can move the broader trade. Rising interest rates and AI-financing concerns also weighed on chip stocks in mid-October. Skeptics are questioning the price as well. The Motley Fool cites reported prospectus figures showing 2025 revenue of about $4.6 billion against a net loss of about $42 billion. About $34 billion of that loss was an accounting charge.

What Could Move the Anthropic $2T Odds Next

The first test is whether figures from the Oct. 14 briefing leak or get reported. IBTimes frames the new revenue numbers as able to reshape the AI trade. Run-rate revenue reportedly crossed $47 billion in May.

The second test is a formal IPO step. Reports expect a public S-1 around late October, marketing the week of Nov. 9 and trading before Nov. 26, with year-end as a fallback. None of these dates has been announced. Any slip past December 31 would threaten resolution regardless of price.

The third test is a confirmed pricing range, which would show whether $2 trillion is within reach. Live prices are tracked on the Anthropic valuation by December 31 market page.
